REsearch Resources

We hold a very significant collection of archaeological material. This includes human remains, zooarchaeological and environmental collections, spatial data, and ceramic and finds assemblages.

As well as working on collaborative projects, we grant independent researchers access to this material for their studies. You can find out more about how this works, including our research and ethics standards and guidelines, application request form and destructive sampling form by visiting our website.

We also make our research available through our Digital Repository with the British Library and the Archaeology Data Service, our publication programme and our resource library, which contains articles our experts have written and contributed to, as well as archaeological reports.
